Many people still think that we just sell old sofas!
THE extraordinary success of the Olympic Games this summer has confirmed the pride we all share in belonging to a successful multi-racial society. Nothing can undermine this justified reaction and long may the feel-good factor continue but it is a sobering thought that we are still a long way from being a fair and equal society in economic terms.
Whilst we await with interest the outcome of the latest government review of the welfare system it would be foolishly optimistic to anticipate any reduction in the number of people in need of the safety net the state provides. Read More...

I cannot tell you how helpful this has all been in the wake of this very unexpected event
"Just a quick note to thank you very much for contacting the SOFA Project to help with my appliances after the flood.
They have done a really good job!
The guys in the Repair workshop very helpfully arranged to have the other goods collected, cleaned, repaired and/or replaced. Luckily the drier is also working and they have completely replaced the washing machine!
In addition, I wanted to mention that everyone from the team that came here was very cheerful, polite and professional. I cannot tell you how helpful this has all been in the wake of this very unexpected event and I hope that you will be able to pass on my very grateful thanks to your colleagues and to everyone at SOFA.

I am genuinely proud of having furnished an office to such a standard
