REFUND POLICY

  1. Any damage or fault found on items purchased from the SOFA Project must be reported to us as soon as reasonably possible. A refund will only be given if the goods are found to be faulty.
  2. The responsibility is with the purchaser to ensure that the goods purchased are of the dimensions which will fit into their property. In the event of goods not being able to be delivered into the property, they will be returned to SOFA and a credit voucher will be issued less a £10.00 handling charge. If requested and signed for we will leave goods outside the property.
  3. In the case of second-hand goods only, if the customer changes his or her mind on receipt of the goods, the goods will be returned to SOFA and a credit voucher will be issued less a £10.00 handling charge. If the goods have not left SOFA for delivery, then a credit voucher will be issued less £5.00 administration charge.
  4. If we are unable to deliver the items, due to the customer being not available when we arrive, then the goods will be returned to SOFA and held in our warehouse for a period of two weeks. If the customer does not organise a re delivery within this timescale, then the goods will be put out for resale. The customer will be entitled to a refund, less £10.00 storage charge. If a redelivery is arranged, there will be a £10.00 redelivery charge. If a redelivery is arranged and once again the customer is not available to receive it, then the goods would be returned to SOFA and put back out for resale. The customer will be entitled to a refund less £20.00. We will only redeliver to a property once.

Guarantees

These T&C do not affect your statutory rights under the sales of goods acts 1979 et seq.

  1. All electrical goods sold by SOFA Project are guaranteed for the period stated on the appliance and the receipt, so long as it has been installed correctly, used in accordance with supplied instructions, and has not suffered accidental damage. If a customer chooses to transport the goods themselves they risk negating the guarantee and any damage which occurs in transit will not be covered by the guarantee.
  2. If an electrical item is found to be faulty within the guarantee period, we will endeavour to repair the fault in situ. If this is not possible, it will be returned to our workshop for repair. If the item is deemed to be not repairable, then a replacement item of a similar standard will be provided. Any refunds will be given at the discretion of the SOFA Project.
  3. If we are called out within the period, and find no fault on the appliance, we reserve the right to make a service charge. Such a charge will be for a minimum of one hour and will be rounded up to the nearest whole hour thereafter.
